For this PC build, we chose the MSI MAG Z890 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard, which suitable for all the latest Intel Core Ultra processors. The system is powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor featuring 24 cores and can reach a max turbo frequency of 5.7 GHz.
The motherboard comes with 1 x PCIE 5.0 x16 slot and 2 x PCIE 4.0 x16 slots for expansion. You’ll also find a unique PCIE supplemental power connector for extra GPUs used in AI computing and gaming.
We also used 48GB of V-Color Manta XFinity RGB DDR5-8000 memory kits, and a MSI Gaming SPATIUM M570 PRO PCIE Gen5 M.2 2TB SSD for storage.
For cooling, we used the MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 360 AIO cooler. It features a high-performance pump that operates at speeds up to 3800 RPM, and comes with high-quality ceramic bearings to achieve a perfect balance between performance and quiet operation.
And the main star of the show is the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Vanguard SOC Launch Edition, which we will using for our graphics card. With this GPU, you’ll have no trouble playing the latest games at 4K with DLSS and Ray Tracing enabled.
To power the whole PC build, we chose the MSI MPG A1000GS PCIE5 power supply, which features a powerful single +12V rail at 83.2A giving you a maximum power output of up to 1000W. It also comes with dual 12V-2×6 connectors for the latest next-gen GPUs, Zero Fan Mode, ATX 3.1 compatibility, and a 135mm FDB fan for efficient cooling and quiet operation.
And finally, to house all these amazing components, we used the MSI MPG VELOX 300R AIRFLOW PZ chassis, which is designed for high thermal performance, versatile cooling, and effortless assembly.
It comes with 2 x 160mm fans with a DUAL LAYER BLADE design, an EZ bracket for AIOs and cooling fans, an EZ PSU cover, a pre-installed GPU holder, and Removable dust filters. It’s perfect for gaming enthusiasts who wants to build powerful rigs, such as the one we’re building now.
I’m super happy with how the PC build turned out. It’s more than I hoped for. I will now swap my old PC with the Project MAG-Nificent, and use this as my main gaming PC for sure!
